Fun Facts about Me
Why I started Living Koselig
Okay, so you want the long version....
I used to feel constantly busy… but completely stuck.
Â
From the outside, my life looked good. I had a stable 9 to 5 job, a supportive partner, great friends, and a full calendar. But inside? I was tired all the time, stuck in a loop of work, TV, sleep, and repeat.
Even on weekends, I couldn’t seem to catch my breath — and I remember thinking one Sunday night, is this really what the next 30 years are going to look like? That quiet fear stuck with me.
I wanted something more. Not just a better job. A better life. One that actually made me feel alive.
Â
So I started something… just for me.
I didn’t know exactly what I was building. I just knew I needed something outside of my 9 to 5. A creative outlet. Something to help me feel fulfilled again.
Since I didn’t feel ready to tell people in my real life yet, I started brainstorming names that I could quietly build under. I stumbled across a suggestion to search words in different languages — and that’s when I found it:
Koselig.
A Norwegian word that describes a cozy, intentional life. One filled with presence, warmth, simplicity, and meaning.
It described everything I was craving. That moment became the spark for Living Koselig.
Â
I didn’t need to hustle more. I needed clarity and simplicity.
Â
I started to shift how I looked at time, energy, and progress. I stopped overcomplicating everything and broke my goals into small, doable steps. I learned how to set boundaries, protect my energy, and stop procrastinating.
Most importantly, I gave myself permission to try — even when I didn’t feel “ready.”
And slowly, everything changed.
Â
Now, I’m building a life that feels like mine.
Â
I’m not just showing up for work anymore — I’m showing up for myself. I feel more energized. I have a creative outlet that excites me. I’m learning to take up space, even as someone who’s naturally quieter and more reserved.
I created Living Koselig to help other shy, corporate women like me go from exhausted and stuck… to clear, intentional, and empowered.
Because life isn’t meant to be lived only on the weekends. You deserve a life that feels good every day — cozy, aligned, and filled with momentum you’re proud of.
Until next time,
Alexa
